How to Fix a broken powder product

We’ve all been there. You drop your favourite blush. It smashes into a thousand pieces. Before you throw it away, it can be salvaged. You can use this method for any broken pressed powder product.

What you’ll need:

99% isopropyl alcohol: you can get this from bunnings, some chemists or online.

a spoon: or anything hard that will smash the powder up

Start by smashing the product down into a fine powder.

Saturate the powder with 99% isopropyl alcohol. You want to add enough alcohol so that you can then mix it into a paste.

Lightly press it back into place with a tissue and let it dry overnight

The alcohol will evaporate, leaving you with your freshly pressed powder good as (almost) new
